visible records group exhibition
December 17, 2021 - February 12, 2022
The exhibition is called "Direct Sow" as in the process of planting seeds directly in the ground, rather than transplanting starts. Direct sowing can feel a little riskier because you start with something that seems impossibly small and dormant (a tiny seed). It is also the most rewarding, however, when full plants eventually grow out of the ground like magic. The title is a nod to the past year of getting started with little idea of how things would unfold, as well as our hopes that this space nurtures a lot of possibility and productivity for local artists.
