Native Hawaiian Art Workshop

In this interactive and art-based workshop, we will explore how Native Hawaiian cultural practices, such as natural dying and printmaking, offer both Hawaiians and non-Hawaiians a path toward climate resilience. We will engage in close observation (kilo) of our natural environment, find hidden meanings (kaona) in natural patterns, and discuss the value of multiple perspectives (makawalu) in our collective approach to climate change.
